Jessica Toledano — Founder & Managing Director, Cause Lab
Jessica Toledano is a force at the intersection of culture, politics, and public imagination. With over two decades of experience, she has built a career moving between the halls of power and the frontlines of art, turning campaigns into cultural events and public spaces into platforms for the voices that matter most.
As founder of Cause Lab, she leads a national creative studio known for bold, high-impact campaigns that fuse strategy with storytelling. From running grassroots movements across the country to shaping New York City’s most ambitious cultural interventions, Jessica’s work is as politically sharp as it is artistically ambitious.
She has brought Little Amal into the American consciousness, co-created the Cavafy Festival with Paola Prestini and the Onassis Foundation and has at Lincoln Center, collaborated with powerhouse arts organizations like St. Ann’s Warehouse, The National Theatre and The Black Theater Coalition. She worked alongside the American Modern Opera Company to premiere the RUNAMOC* Festival at Lincoln Center — a national project pushing the boundaries of performance and civic dialogue.
Jessica’s work doesn’t live in silos. It lives in streets, on stages, and in the bloodstream of culture. Cause Lab's campaigns don't just make noise they shift narratives, claim space, and demand attention.
