Chris Whitman is a media and technology executive with over 15 years of experience driving innovation at the intersection of advertising, measurement, and the creator economy. He currently serves as VP of Sales at Adelaide where he leads the adoption of AU, the industry’s leading omnichannel attention-based media quality metric, among Fortune 500 brands and global agencies. Previously, he co-founded Glassbox Media, a venture-backed podcast network reaching more than 15 million monthly listeners across YouTube and audio, where he helped podcasters monetize and grow their audiences. He also launched CRONY Creative and Open Grid, producing integrated content campaigns and virtual e-commerce platforms for global brands like BuzzFeed, Billboard, PepsiCo, and Chase. His career includes senior leadership roles at Giant Media, Universal McCann, and ZenithOptimedia, consistently helping global marketers unlock growth through emerging platforms. Beyond his professional career, Chris is deeply committed to supporting creativity and cultural innovation, having served on the Board of Directors of National Sawdust since 2016. In his younger days, Chris was a VJ in a number of Brooklyn-based electronic DJ/VJ groups and even produced a 360 projection in National Sawdust's iconic venue. Chris holds a BA in Finance and Film Studies from Emory University (2007).
