Elliot reflects: “I’ve played “Highspeeds” so many times over the past decade that it’s taken on a life of its own. It had been a long while since I heard the original recording. Sitting down to make the minimal version, I started to hear all the little shifts that settled in over the years—how time quietly bent the shape of the song. It’s really interesting to hear them side by side.”

Elliot Moss, an inveterate musician raised in the recording studio, has devoted much of his life to dreaming up sonic worlds with a strangely transportive power. Since his first viral success at eighteen with “Slip,” Elliot’s music has amassed over 350M streams worldwide.
