Come join Ella Reese, Halle Burnett, and Remi Baker for a talent-packed evening as these three young ladies swoon the night away with songs that will remind you that Girls really do Just Want to Have Fun. Organized by Ella Reese, an NYC-based singer-songwriter, Girls Just Wanna Have Fun will be an emotionally vibrant night. Ella, Halle and Remi, all currently students at NYU’s Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music, prove that soul and sincerity still have a home in modern music. Get ready for electrifying performances of both original music and covers, to sing, to dance, oh… and to HAVE FUN! (This event is open to all genders:) April 4th at 7pm.

ABOUT ELLA REESE
Ella Reese is an NYC-raised singer-songwriter. From a young age, she found music to be the most effective way to express herself and instrumental in her personal growth. Ella’s heartfelt, witty lyrics are complemented by her sometimes delicate, sometimes daring, and always powerful vocals. According to In-Tune Blog, “Her sound is refreshingly genuine, infused with the heart of classic soul and the introspective storytelling of modern pop.” Ella values community connection and strives to prioritize this in her work by creating magnetic live performances where she loves to engage with her audience.
Ella regularly plays out in NYC and has also made cameo appearances in Aspen, Colorado and Bangkok, Thailand. She is currently a student at NYU’s Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music.

ABOUT REMI BAKER
Remi Baker is a songbird. Raised in the rolling Georgia hills and now settling in the streets of New York City, she never stops singing. Atop her folk-pop soundscapes of layered string instruments sit handwritten lyrics rooted in nostalgia, sentiment, and sensory. Through an extensive music education at Interlochen Arts Academy, The YoungArts Foundation, and now at the NYU Clive Davis Institute, she’s shared stages with legends like Patrice Rushen to up-and-coming contemporaries like Claud in venues from Michigan to Miami, New York to Los Angeles. Remi's distinct intersection of folk, pop, and jazz is epitomized in her recent debut single "Payday”. You can keep up with all Remi’s doing through her social media handle @imremibaker.
ABOUT HALLE BURNETT
Halle Burnett is a Toronto-born, New York-based singer-songwriter whose music blends the introspective lyricism of indie storytelling with the smooth, rhythmic pulse of R&B. At just 21, Halle crafts songs that explore love, longing, and self-discovery—delivering them with a groove that invites listeners to feel deeply and move freely. Her latest single, “We Just Like to Get High,” released on March 26, 2025, showcases this signature fusion. The track layers soulful melodies over a subtly infectious beat, capturing the emotional tension of modern romance. This talent is also showcased on her latest sync release entitled “Tomorrow’s Interlude” featured on Netflix's Forever sound track.
