A collaborative series exploring boleros, boogaloo and afrolatin rhythms. Born from a love of boleros and the community spirit of spaces like the Nuyorican Poets Café, Salón Parcha is a welcoming space for experimentation and collaboration, for flirting with strangers and singing with friends. Our next edition features a special set by Gabriel Garzon Montano doing his takes on classic and original boleros and salsa tunes he loves, with the powerhouse Ella Bric as music director and her backing band. El Garo holds it down with vinyl selections throughout the night.

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.

Known for his genre-blurring blend of soul, funk & r&b with Latin influences, the Colombian-French multi-instrumentalist is no stranger to boleros, having been featured on Adrian Quesada’s Boleros Psicodelicos and having a few of his own original boleros up his sleeve. As a longtime salsa lover, we’re excited to see him share this rarely seen side of his musical self.

Music Director Ella Bric is a Venezuelan-born, New York–based multidisciplinary artist working across music, performance, and audiovisual storytelling. A two-time Latin Grammy–winning producer, songwriter, and trumpeter, she made history as the first woman to receive the Latin Grammy Award for Producer of the Year. For Salon Parcha, Ella leads a band of heavy hitters across Latin jazz and beyond featuring Yusniel Sanches, Cesar Orozco, Ernesto Sanches, and Luisito Quintero.
