National Sawdust Student CoLab

National Sawdust’s flagship arts education program, in partnership with El Puente Beaconfor middle school composers and artists. Each year, Student CoLab engages up to twenty young people from the school to participate in a three-month commissioning program of music and visual arts workshops. The program culminates in a performance of their work by professional artists and themselves at National Sawdust. This program is supported, in part, by public funds from the New York City Council 33rd District and administered by the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs, and is generously underwritten by The Faber Family, in memory of Joan Faber
