What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.

From the virtual salon:

"Baldwin said, 'All your buried corpses are now beginning to speak.' The blood that’s on your hands, that’s built this country and that’s never talked about. For the children born after the sixties - there were no riots happening when I was born. Some Black folks got their checks, or their house, or their middle class existence. The Civil Rights movement was almost gone. The Black Panthers were gone, they killed Fred Hampton.

When you’re a child and you’re born into this Black city - Detroit - your dad’s a construction worker, your mom works at the phone company - you’re like, what is this thing called resistance? I didn’t grow up being in the front lines of anything, but in my spirit, in my energy, in the water of Detroit, I felt that energy was still there." –jessica Care moore
