Meditations on the Gift of Awe :: love songs for earth & survival is an immersive, prayerful and celebratory, genre-defying song cycle. This work steadies its sonic gaze on healing and cultivation of calm via vocal soundscapes, rhythm & improvisation. With vocal trio and chamber ensemble, songs from Meditations on the Gift of Awe :: love songs for earth & survival and others from Morley’s catalogue will speak to the tenderness of our individual journeys towards collective liberation and love. Featuring Morley with Chris Bruce, Daniel Mintseris, Jack DeBoe, Chris St. Hilaire, Levon Henry, Arun Ramamurthy, Trina Basu, Kenita Miller and Justin Hicks.

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.

Singer-composer and producer, Morley weaves the threads of jazz, soul, and folk traditions  into a singular tapestry of vocal and acoustic splendor — the sound wave of a life lived  with uncommon devotion to human rights and environmental justice.

Raised in vibrantly multicultural Jamaica, Queens, and educated at the United Nations  School, Duke Ellington High School for the Performing Arts and Alvin Ailey, Morley has  released eight albums of original songs via Sony, Universal and Independently. Her music  appears on network television, commercials, human rights documentaries and Democracy Now.

Morley spearheaded the release of Borderless Lullabies, an ongoing benefit album for K-I-N-D (Kids In Need Of Defense) featuring: Yo-Yo Ma, Maria Popova, Jaqueline Woodson, Meryl Streep, Toshi Reagon and more.

Follow the Sound (2025) Morley’s eighth album, co-produced with Chris Bruce (GRAMMY® Meshell Ndegeocello’s No More Water: The Gospel of James Baldwin) is a  globally minded, jazz-influenced offering.

In March of ’26, Morley produced and created sound design for Cameron Russell & Mei Tao’s: The Art Of Care installation at Proyecto Público, Mexico City and performed as well as created the music for choreographer, Coco Karol at Every Woman Biennial: Brick X Brick.

As a lyricist, Morley contributes to artists such as William Parker, Youn Sun Nah, Lizz Wright, Richard Bona and Yuri Buenaventura.

Currently Morley is completing Meditations On The Gift of Awe:: love songs for earth & survival, with contributions from: Chris Bruce, Toshi Reagon, Trina & Arun Ramamurthy, Meshell Ndegeocello, Justin Hicks, Kenita Miller, Hanna Benn, Abe Rounds  & Levon Henry.

“Morley’s voice is necessary to the cosmos. It comes from mourning doves who don’t  mourn but spread such joy and calm that she leaves your body in gentle shock, we are so  unused to this!” – hilton als
