Born from a shared love of boleros and the community-driven spirit of spaces like the Nuyorican Poet’s Cafe, Salon Parcha brings together artists exploring boleros, Afro-Latin rhythms, jazz, and their contemporary offshoots.
The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.
A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!
Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
Anchored by house band Orquesta La Triunfadora and featuring guest artists each night, Salon Parcha is a space for experimentation, collaboration, and bold reinterpretations of tradition, where the lines between artist and audience are blurred and and our musical community can flourish.
For this first edition we’re thrilled to feature Ella Bric, a Venezuelan trumpeter, composer, and producer who rose to international prominence after becoming the first woman to win Producer of the Year at the 2018 Latin Grammy Awards. Shaped by both formal study and self-taught production, her career spans performance, composition, and cultural leadership, with collaborations alongside artists like Wynton Marsalis and Arturo Sandoval before transitioning into a focus on composing and producing work that reflects her personal journey and engages contemporary social themes.
This is a seated performance. If you require accessibility accommodations, please email boxoffice@nationalsawdust.org.
